Coronavirus Outbreak: Zee TV To Be Taken Over By THESE Shows Of Its Digital Platform ZEE5 – Reports
Reportedly, Zee TV is planning to air THESE shows from its digital platform ZEE5, thanks to no shooting due to the coronavirus outbreak
The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world on a standstill. Apart from tampering so many lives, it has also got on adverse effects on several markets, including the film and TV industry. Right from a streak of Bollywood biggies getting postponed to all the shootings for films and TV shows coming on a halt; novel coronavirus has got its claws on almost everything and anything in this world. It appears that all the entertainment channels are running out of fresh episodes of all their shows due to no shooting.
And to overcome the same, they are coming up with alternatives like re-running their old shows or the ones from their digital streaming platforms. Take, for instance, the recent announcement of Bigg Boss 13 being re-aired on Colors TV, after the makers concluded their swayamwar show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge due to the COVID-19 scare. Now, if a report in Telly Chakkar is anything to go by, the makers of Zee TV have reportedly decided to run shows from its digital platform ZEE5 on television because of the scarcity of fresh episodes.
As per the report, Zee TV will re-run all the previous episodes only on March 23 and 24. Post that i.e., from March 25, the channel will be telecasting some popular shows from ZEE5. According to their sources, shows like Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat starring Ram Kapoor, Ashi Negi and Sharman Joshi's Baarish and Kehne Ko Humsafar of Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohli and Mona Singh will be telecasted on Zee TV from March 25.
Not only them, but even Star Plus is also planning to air some of its original shows from its digital streaming platform, Hotstar TV. Sad but such is life right now, folks!
