Television actress Sana Makbul was crowned as the winner of Anil Kapoor-hoster controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3. Over the past month and a half, the show has been one of the trending topics on all social media platforms. Some of the highlights of the show were Ranvir Shorey and Sana’s constant fights, and Armaan Malik’s polygamous marriage with Payal and Kritika. With the grand finale hosted on Friday evening, August 2, 2024, the host of the show announced that Sana was the winner.

After Kritika Malik, Sai Ketan Rao, and Ranvir Shorey were eliminated from the show, after reaching the finale, the competition boiled down to Sana and Naezy being in the Top 2. Kapoor after welcoming the two contestants on the stage, declared that according to the live voting, the actress had won the show. She was given the gorgeous trophy and Rs 25 lakhs. She won over the audience as she lifted the trophy with the rapper. It is to be noted that Sana and Naezy shared a friendly relationship in the house. Talking about the rest of the contestants that reached the finale, Kritika was eliminated from the show in the fifth position. She accepted the decision gracefully and rushed to reunite with her family. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, who had entered the house to promote their upcoming film Stree 2, announced that Sai came in fourth place. He hugged his girlfriend Shivangi Khedkar, after the decision was announced, and stated that she was his real trophy. As Ranvir was crowned as the second runner-up of the show, Sana apologised to him for all their fights and disagreements, during his exit. The grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT season 3 was streamed online on Jio Cinema on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 9 pm. Apart from the above-mentioned names, the show also had contestants like Chandrika Gera Dixit (also known as Delhi’s Vada Pav Girl), Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, Munisha Khatwani, Lovekesh Kataria, Shivani Kumari, Poulomi Polo Das, Sana Sultan, Vishal Pandey, and boxer Neeraj Goyat. Adnaan Shaikh had entered the house as a wild card contestant.
