After Watching Bard Of Blood And The Family Man, Watch These 3 Spy Shows
With The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee already out on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix original, Bard of Blood starring Emraan Hashmi right around the corner, it definitely seems to be the month of spy shows. These two shows are vastly different from each other even while being in the same genre, but they also mark the digital debut of two of Bollywood’s finest actors.

If you are hooked to the genre thanks to these shows and want to watch a few more spy shows, here’s what we recommend.

1) The Americans

The Americans is not just a spy thriller, it’s a period spy thriller.  Set in the 1980s, during the Cold War, it is the story of two spies posing as a married couple. Spanning over six seasons, the show is not only engaging but is also insightful and gives us a lot of context about what happened with the USA and Soviet Union during that time.

The Americans is now streaming on Hotstar

2) Homeland

Homeland is the kind of show that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Based on the Israeli series, Prisoners of War, the show has one of the most interesting protagonists on television, Carrie Mathison, a CIA officer who has bipolar disorder. The show has seven seasons and the last season is about to premiere in 2020.

Homeland is now streaming on Hotstar.

3) 24

The format of the show is what makes 24 an interesting watch. Following the ever exciting life of Counter Intelligence officer, Jack Bauer who tracks down terrorists for a living. The show spanning over eight seasons tracks Jack’s movements almost in real time, each episode covers one hour. This show also gave birth to an Indian remake of the same name.

24 is now streaming on Hotstar.
