Kapoor and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap gave a little teaser of what to expect from their upcoming film. Last night, the two engaged in a savage war of words on Twitter, as they took digs at each other’s film careers. However, it turned out to be a gimmick for their film, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Well, after which, Anurag released his version of the trailer that was just as same as what we saw on Twitter but this time, it was with visuals. Post that it was Anil Kapoor who hit back with his version of the trailer. Did you notice that Anil Kapoor calls Anurag Kashyap a 'Ranveer Singh of f***ers' in the trailer?
Since this is all scripted, we are sure Ranveer Singh will take it sportingly. Given the fact he was one of the guests at the AIB roast session, this is no big deal for Mr Singh. After the trailer was released, Anurag was being savage to the director Vikram as well. He wrote that the narrative is not doing any justice and hence will release the Kashyap cut soon. After Kashyap Vs Kapoor on Twitter, a source revealed it was manufactured marketing for their film AK Vs AK. The sources say the entire Twitter “banter” between the two AKs was rehearsed and scripted. “Since the two actors play two men with the same initials to their names, at loggerheads with one another, this so-called banter was seen as a good way to kickstart the campaign towards the film’s release,” says the source to SpotboyE.com.
