Aashram Series: This Bobby Deol Starrer Cult-Drama Is Soaring High On Success; Manages To Impress One And All
Not very long ago, the first part of Bobby Deol's web series titled Aashram had made it to MX Player and it opened to a great response from all its viewers across the country. The intriguing nine-episode series has been directed and helmed by Prakash Jha and also stars Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochhar, Anuritta K Jha, Sachin Shroff, Rajeev Siddhartha and Parinitaa Seth in key roles. Aashram chronicled the life of a fictional godman named Baba Nirala, portrayed by Bobby Deol. Aashram highlights a streak of social issues like trading of faith for power, politics, exploitation of women and frauds in the name of godmen among others.

After garnering a lot of critical and public appreciation, the makers recently dropped the episodes of Aashram Chapter 2 - The Dark Side and, needless to say, it successfully stood up to viewers' expectations. This time around, we got to know the deeper and darker secrets of Baba Nirala. It also threw light on the reality of conmen, who in the garb of goodness, play with their devotees' faith and lives. Well, unlike most other web series, wherein the sequels mostly disappoint, both Aashram and Aashram Chapter 2 have managed to wow fans with its performances, twists and turns and a gripping storyline.
