‘Men Like Ranvir Shorey Want To Tame Strong Women Down’: Bigg Boss OTT 3 Winner Sana Makbul Takes Another DIG At The Actor
Sana Makbul recently opened up about her rivalry with Ranvir Shorey and how he wanted everyone in the house to ‘bow down to him’

Ranvir Shorey and Sana Makbul constantly made the headlines for being at loggerheads during their participation in Anil Kapoor’s hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT season 3. Throughout the show, they got into really nasty fights in the show, to the point where it escalated to them insulting each other and using abusive language. Their fights left netizens and their co-contestants feeling uncomfortable. Even after the actress was declared as the winner, they have been taking slight digs at each other.

During a recent interview with the Free Press Journal, she spoke about her experience of sharing the house with the senior actor and how every contestant apart from her friends Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, and Shivani Kumari would ‘suck up to the actor.’ She added that Shorey didn’t like her or her friends just because they didn’t do so. She added, “Unko hum hi se problem thi aur un ke purey gang ko hum hi se problem thi. Opening up about her conversation with Lovekesh about the same, the 31-year-old actress revealed that since Ranvir is older than them, the least he could do was speak to them politely. However, she pointed out that whenever the senior actor wanted to convey something to them, he would do so “rudely.” “He never spoke nicely to us,” Makbul added. Further in the interview, Sana was asked about the belief that the “most-targetted contestant of the show” often wins the show. She expressed that it was one of the reasons why she had given Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who was titled the second runner-up of Bigg Boss season 16, a warm hug.
Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the Vish actress said, “Priyanka had come on our show recently and she came across as the most targetted contestant during her stint in Bigg Boss 17. So when she came, I gave her a very warm hug. I do not even know her, but I think she got it that no body in the house likes me. So you know strong women are always, always treated like this. Men like them (Ranvir) want to tame us down but strong women refuse to bow down. So I think strong women are never appreciated because we have an intimidating personalities toh un jaiso ko achi nahi lagti, you got what I mean? Un jaiso ko!”
For those who don’t remember, after coming out of the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house, Ranvir stated that there were more deserving contestants in the show, who could have won, however, the makers gave the trophy to someone with more social media following. Ever since the duo has been engaging in war of words.
Talking about the show, Sana Makbul was crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3. Apart from the trophy, she was also given Rs 25 lakhs. The show constantly made the headlines and became a trending topic of discussion on all social media platforms.
