WWE RAW Results, Winners, Recap: Big E To Fight Drew McIntyre Before SmackDown, Chaotic Women's Match Closes Draft
WWE Raw results, SmackDown champion Becky Lynch leading to Raw to close WWE Draft.
The WWE Draft came to a wrap on Monday night, with the second half of the draft taking place throughout WWE Raw. As anticipated, several big names will be finding themselves on a new brand when the changes go into effect after Crown Jewel on Oct. 21.
Crown Jewel also docked two new matches during Raw. Big E will now formally defend his WWE championship against former champion Drew McIntyre in McIntyre's final match before moving to SmackDown, and Bobby Lashley and Goldberg conceded to a rematch of their SummerSlam clash, this time under no disqualification rules.
Becky Lynch initiated the show by announcing that she was the night's top overall pick in the draft, which means the SmackDown women's champion had been drafted to Raw. Same as Raw women champion Charlotte Flair had been drafted to SmackDown on Friday. Flair appears before the ring to talk about Lynch after she suggested Lunch might need to win the Raw title also. This withdrew Bianca Belair, who wondered why she was being ignored. Lynch also recommended a match between Belair and Flair as the major event, which WWE officials quickly made official.
Meanwhile, Bianca Belair def. Charlotte Flair via disqualification post interfering by Becky Lynch. After a back-and-forth match, Belair hit Flair with the Kiss of Death and looks like to have the match won but Lynch, who was doing commentary, suddenly pulled Belair from the ring and attacked her. The attack continued until Sasha Banks ran in to attack Lynch, at the end of the show, Sasha standing tall after brutalizing Lynch and Belair.
