The Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo, are reportedly set to direct "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars," both of which will feature Doctor Doom as a central character. The directing duo is being compensated handsomely for their work, with reports indicating that they are being paid $80 million (approximately Rs 670 crore) for helming the two films. However, it has been reported that Robert Downey Jr is charging "significantly more" than the directors for his portrayal of Doctor Doom. While the exact amount of his paycheck has not been disclosed, it is clear that Downey will earn more than Rs 670 crore for his participation in the films. In addition to his substantial fee, he will also receive various perks, including private jet travel, a dedicated security detail, and a "trailer encampment."
Downey's return to the MCU comes after his 2019 retirement announcement, following the death of his character, Iron Man, in "Avengers: Endgame."
