The Batman Trailer OUT: Robert Pattinson As The Tortured Cape Crusader Will Blow Your Mind-WATCH
The trailer of Robert Pattinson-starrer upcoming superhero movie ‘The Batman’ was released at the DC FanDome event.
Matt Reeves' forthcoming superhero movie ‘The Batman’, starring Robert Pattinson, is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022 for obvious reasons. While the intriguing posters of the actioner have already left fans excited, the makers have now released its trailer. On Saturday, the trailer was released at the DC FanDome event. The new trailer offers more details about the film's story, Pattinson's Batman, the plethora of familiar villains - Paul Dano as Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin - and many other major characters.
The action-packed trailer promises a dark and extravagantly violent iteration of the iconic superhero-previously played by the likes of Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Christina Bale and Ben Affleck.
Robert Pattinson as the eponymous caped crusader in the trailer has left everyone stunned with his brilliant stint and amazing transformation. While unveiling the trailer, the official Instagram page of the movie wrote, “The Batman – Main Trailer Vengeance has arrived at #DCFanDome. Watch the new trailer for The Batman now. Only in theaters March 4. #TheBatman.”
In the intriguing trailer, there are plenty of moments where Pattinson takes on his adversaries in hand-to-hand combat, and in one scene, he walks into a room while facing incessant gunfire. Going by the trailer, it is quite evident that 'The Batman’ will have high-octane action sequences and some nail-biting scenes. The trailer also gives a glimpse at Paul Dano's The Riddler, although the character's face was kept hidden.

At the event, Pattinson and Kravitz joined Reeves for a panel discussion before the release of the trailer. Pattinson, while unveiling the trailer said, “The delineation between when he’s Batman and when he’s Bruce is not so clear as other iterations … I kind of really like this idea. It's a little bit out of control. He hasn’t completely defined what Batman is, but he gets lost in it. Whenever he’s putting it on every night, he’s not sleeping, and he’s becoming this quite sort of odd creature.”
Also starring Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell, The Batman is slated to release on March 4, 2022.
Speaking of the DC FanDome, the online fan event was a loaded affair with DC providing glimpses at many of its marquee titles, including Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Peacemaker series.
