Every successful woman has a story to tell about how people give credit to males for their success or make some sexist remarks for their successful journey. However, a woman is never credited for its hard work and well that what has happened with the American pop singer Taylor Swift. The lady is one of the top-rated singers in Hollywood but to reach to that status, Swift faced sexism remarks early in her career for her dating history.

In the past, Taylor has dated quite a few famous celebs which include Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, Conor Kenedy, Taylor Lautner, to name a few. Apparently, people started slut slamming the singer for relationship history with these men. During an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1 show, she said that people used to say that her songs and the lyrics are like a trick to date the high profile males rather than a skill or a craft. She said, “When I was, like, 23 and people were just kind of reducing me to … kind of making slideshows of my dating life and putting people in there that I’d sat next to at a party once and deciding that my songwriting was like a trick rather than a skill and a craft.” ALSO READ: Taylor Swift chilling with Tom Hiddleston video is #RomanceGoals


She further said that slut-shame happened to her at a very young age, so that was a bit hard for her. She also said that was one of the first times where she was like, ‘Wow, this is not fair.' She said, “In a way, it’s figuring out how to completely minimize that skill by taking something that everyone in their darkest, darkest moments loves to do, which is just to slut-shame, you know?" 


Not only this, she also expressed her frustration by saying that people don’t understand how easy it is to infer that someone who’s a female artist or a female in our industry is somehow doing something wrong by wanting love, wanting money, wanting success. Taylor also told the host that she has learned her lesson from those incidents and she really and truly thinks that didn’t do anything wrong by having a normal dating life in her early 20s. Well, way to go, girl!
