Spider-Man: No Way Home; Jon Watts Dons A Producer's Hat For The Sixth Installment Of Final Destination
Once again fans of Final Destination are up for a treat. The Death-horror film will be with its sixth season. Director Jon Watts who helmed the hit superhero movie Spider-Man: No Way Home has donned a producer’s hat for this upcoming part. As reported in Variety, Jon Watts will be producing the film for New Line Cinema banner. Along with him co-producing the movie would be his wife, Dianne McGunigle. The duo also continues to have Final Destination producers Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor on board for this exciting part. 

Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick are penning down the screenplay based on the way Watts vision. The film will be marking its debut on HBO Max. As reported in Variety, Watts shared in his statement his wife along with him are huge fans of this franchise, hence, they are excited to be involved in creating a new story for the forthcoming part. The director is excited to work with the core team associated with the film, as well as New Line Cinema. 

Watts said in a statement, “Both Dianne and I have been massive fans of ‘Final Destination’ from the very beginning. So to be able to have a hand in crafting a new story with the original team and New Line is going to be both fun and exciting.”


Final Destination has been the audience’s favourite since its inception in 2000.
