Actress Priyanka Chopra’s bond with her sisters-in-law Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas is known to all. She is very close to both of them, however the divorce proceedings between Joe Jonas and the Game Of Thrones stars has left her as well as the entire Jonas family in shock. According to various media reports, the reason behind their separation is said to be incompatibility. Well, apparently apart from the couple, the Quantico star is also having a hard time dealing with the separation as she is very close to both Sophie and Joe.
As reported by Bollywood Life, Priyanka has been caught in the crossfire amid the divorce proceedings between Joe and Sophie. The entertainment portal quoted a report from Life & Style which states that the actress not only is concerned for her ex-sister-in-law but also her nieces Willa and Delphine. While she wants to maintain a healthy relationship with them, she is also unsure of what to do, just like many of their other mutual friends, given the controversial separation between the couple. Given how close Priyanka and Sophie are, at one point, the latter had felt that the former would even move to London with Nick Jonas to be with her and her family, reports Bollywood Life. The source went on to add how PC is concerned for Sophie and her daughters and doesn’t want to do anything that would ruin her relationship with them. For the unversed, it was in September 2023 that the estranged couple announced their separation through a public note. While it was stated that the reason behind their separation was incompatibility, it was also reported that Joe wanted the actress to focus more on their family life, while she wanted to focus more on her career. Things were quick to escalate from there as it was reported that the musician had withheld his daughters’ passports so that they couldn’t go to London to be with their mother. Recent reports state that the lawyers will soon start a four-day mediation to settle the divorce and plan how they will co-parent their daughters Willa and Delphine.
