With the nominations list featuring the best films of the year in 24 categories finally out, films ‘The Irishman’, ‘Joker’, ‘1917’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, ‘Parasite’ and Netflix’s ‘Marriage Story’ bagged the most nominations. On Twitter, The Academy tweeted, “Meet this year’s class of Oscar nominees! #OscarsLunch,” sharing a picture of the class of Oscar nominees this year. According to the tweet, the Oscars 2020 nominees gathered together for the Oscars lunch, and the picture featuring all is unmissable. In the picture, nominated actors Brad Pitt, Leonardo Di Caprio, Al Pacino, Rober De Niro can be spotted along with the rest of the Oscars nominees. While the Academy shares the amazing picture days before the event, Brad Pitt is spotted in a beige colored suit on the extreme right corner, with Leonardo Di Caprio in the middle extreme front, with Robert De Niro standing in a classic black suit behind him. Meanwhile, the nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards were announced by John Cho and Issa Rae on January 13, 2020, at 6:30 pm IST in a two-part live presentation via global live stream.
The prestigious Oscars 2020 Awards will be hostless this year, for the second time in a row, and will be held on February 10, 2020 at Dolby Theater at Hollywood & Highland.
