Finally able to discuss this w/out providing too many spoilers. Getting the call from @Kevfeige was one of the most unexpected of my life. It was an honor & joy to finally work w/ Sam Raime who reached out to engage me on how best to do this. Beyond grateful for the experience 🤯 pic.twitter.com/aRIwr8A4E7

He also shared another image of his character on Instagram as he wrote, “I can finally talk about it!!! I was beyond thrilled to get the call from Kevin Feige asking me to re-don the tuning fork. And it was a even more of a thrill to finally work with the great Sam Raimi for whom I have been a fan since as far back as “Evil Dead 2”. The experience was tremendous. Special thanks to producer Richie Palmer for making me feel so welcome and to @fakemichaelwaldron for running and gunning the whole way.”
In the film, Anson’s Black Bolt was killed along with the rest of the Illuminati by the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in a rather gruesome twist.
