The singer who is releasing songs from her album Chromatica, recently released the song Rain On Me with Ariana Grande which won hearts. Now, during an interview, Lady Gaga revealed she is taking anti-psychotic medication because she can’t always control what her brain does. The singer also opened up about having mental issues, during the interview.
Speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio station, in an open discussion, Lady Gaga, mentioned that she has found the drug olanzapine quite helpful. The drug that Lady Gaga mentioned during the interview is a medication used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar. During the interview, the Rain On Me singer opened up about being on anti-psychotic medication. The 34-year-old singer said, “I wrote a song on Chromatica called 911, and it's about an anti-psychotic that I take and it's because I can't always control things that my brain does and I have to take medication to stop the process that occurs.”

She then continued, “I know I have mental issues and I know that they can sometimes render me non-functional as a human.”
Meanwhile, as Lady Gaga opened up about having mental issues in the interview, she had earlier mentioned that she went on medication after being repeatedly raped at the age of 19, leaving her with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder). On the other hand, during Oprah Winfrey's 2020 Vision: Your Life In Focus Tour in Florida, the singer had also revealed how she had a psychotic break and explained everything to her fans in detail.
