Kobe Bryant Memorial Service: Beyonce Comforts A Tearful Vanessa Bryant As Michael Jordan Remembers The Legend - WATCH
Legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna lost their lives in a deadly plane crash. Yesterday, a memorial service was held at the Staples Centre for the Lakers star. The event was a star-studded one with Beyonce kickstarting it with an emotional yet powerful performance. Wearing gold yellow pantsuit, which is the colour of the Lakers, Beyonce performed on two songs - Halo and XO. Reportedly, these were the favourite songs of Kobe. While the event was on, cameras also captured the singer comforting Kobe's wife Vanessa Bryant.

A video has surfaced on the internet in which we see Beyonce comforting Vanessa as tears roll down her eyes. It happens when Michael Jordan is on stage paying his tribute to his good friend Kobe Bryant. We can see Beyonce tapping on Vanessa's shoulder while the latter closes her eyes and remembers her late husband. The Kobe Bryant memorial service was a very emotional event with the venue full packed with fans and loved ones who came to pay their tribute to the basketball player.

Further, Vanessa also gave a very heartwrenching speech. She started off by remembering her daughter Gianna by saying, "Gianna Bryant is an amazingly sweet and gentle soul. She was always thoughtful. She was daddy’s girl but I know she loved her mamma. She was one of my very best friends."

Michael Jordan too was pretty emotional and in his speech, he said, "When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died, and as I look at this arena and across the globe, a piece of you died."
