Kim Kardashian's KKW Beauty In Trouble, Being Sued By Seed Beauty To Protect Trade Secrets?
As per latest reports, Kim Kardashian and her cosmetic company KKW may be in trouble as the brand growth company Seed Beauty is planning to legal action against it
While Kim Kardashian is pretty famous for her envious curves on social media and for featuring in Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality star is also considered to be a makeup mogul. The entrepreneur runs a Cosmetic and Skincare line called KKW, even though it serves as a direct competition to her sister's venture Kylie Cosmetics. Now, as per reports, KKW may get bought out by Coty and the brand growth company Seed Beauty that worked with KKW is worried that the makeup mogul will sell out their trade secrets too.
As per a report in TMZ, Seed Beauty has called for a judge's injunction. The report mentions that Seed Beauty has demanded for 'an injunction blocking KKW Beauty from revealing its trade secrets and business practices' to Coty. The report also mentions that Seed Beauty suffered a similar situation when Cosmetic Giant Coty bought out the parent company of Kylie Jenner cosmetics line - King Kylie. Even then, the brand growth company had warned Kylie to not sell out the trade secrets implemented by Seed Beauty to grow her brand, however, nothing concrete came out of it.
Seed Beauty now fears that their precious intel will be at risk if KKW is bought out by Coty, reports Dailymail.com. Kim Kardashian is yet to respond to this.
Meanwhile, if reports are anything to go by, Kylie Jenner's husband and rapper Kanye West is all set to venture into the Cosmetics and Skincare industry with his brand. Kylie and Kim are said to be helping him out in the best possible manner.
