Justin Bieber Recalls His 2014 DUI Arrest; Says ‘Not Proud Of Where I Was At In My Life’
Justin Bieber took to his Instagram to reflect on his 2014 DUI arrest. The singer recalled the incident and shared how his relationship with God has made him a better person
Stuck With U singer Justin Bieber is reflecting on his past mistakes and making sure he does not repeat any. The singer recently made a post on his Instagram, talking about his 2014 DUI (Driving Under Influence) arrest. Justin also opened up about how his relationship with God has made him become a better person. It was on January 23, 2014 when the singer was arrested in Florida for drag racing on a Miami beach street. He was driving a yellow Lamborghini and failed the sobriety test.
Justin shared a picture of him being hand-cuffed and wrote, “7 years ago today I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life.” As the singer recalled his 2014 arrest and shared how he was not proud of where he was in life, he added, “I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, mislead, misunderstood and angry at god..” Bieber mentioned how he also wore a lot of leather clothing in the hot Miami weather. He continued, “All this to say God has brought me a long way. From then til now I do realize something.. God was as close to me then as he is right now.” The singer then shared encouragement with his followers. He said, “Don’t allow shame to ruin your “today” let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be.” The singer concluded his post’s caption, sending out love to his fans with his whole heart.

For the unversed, this is not the first time when Justin has made a post, reflecting on his arrest. Back in 2017, the singer had shared a selfie of him and spoke about how he has grown up ever since his DUI. Meanwhile, Bieber was later charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license. After his arrest, Justin pleaded guilty to avoid jail time.
