Jurassic World: Dominion Release Date Postponed By A Year; Wait Will Be Worth It, Promises Director Colin Trevorrow
The next instalment of one of the biggest franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion will now release in June 2022. Sharing the announcement, the filmmaker Colin Trevorrow said that the fans will have to wait for a bit longer but it will be worth it
Jurassic Park and Jurassic World have been ruling the cinemas since inception. Touted to be the biggest franchise, fans feel the exhilaration when they watch the film in the theatres. However, considering the global Coronavirus pandemic, plenty of movies are getting affected in Hollywood as well as in Bollywood. The makers have been shuffling release dates as the industry tries to recover the loss that was caused through the pandemic. Following this, the release date of Jurassic World: Dominion has also been shifted by a year now. The film is said to be hitting the big screens on June 10, 2022. Announcing the new release date, the makers even shared a new poster of it.
The filmmaker Colin Trevorrow shared a tweet saying the fans will have to wait for a bit longer but it will be worth it. Sharing the announcement on his Twitter handle, he wrote, "For the past three months, I’ve worked with an extraordinary cast and crew on a film we can’t wait to share with the world. Even though we'll have to wait a bit longer, it will all be worth it. Let’s stay healthy and take care of each other until then."
After the announcement was made, the fans are pretty pumped even though the release date is pushed as at least they will get to see the movie in the theatres. In the sea of comments, one user wrote, "glad it's being delayed i've seen every jp/jw in theatre and i don't want to miss one because im not going to a theatre until im vaccinated for are current world situation" while another one commented, "Now this decision is really good. We can definitely wait one more year and it will be worth it! Can't wait for 2022!"

Jurassic World: Dominion, the latest part of the franchise will be helmed by Colin Trevorrow. The film stars Chris Pratt, Laura Dern, Campbell Scott, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Haze and many more.
