John Legend Dedicates His BBMA Performance To Wife Chrissy Teigen; Pens An Emotional Note Saying He Is In 'Awe' Of Her Strength Post Miscarriage

It was recently that John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen suffered a miscarriage. She had penned a heart-wrenching post on social media talking about how they have lost their third child. Post the loss of their child, John Legend recently performed for the Billboards Music Awards 2020 and dedicated his performance to his wife. The All of Me singer wrote a lengthy post on social media sharing how he is in awe of the strength his wife has demonstrated in the hard times.

John, who even played the piano, shared that this performance is for Chrissy as he appeared to be set for his performance. He sang Never Break from the Bigger Love album and shared the video on Instagram. In the caption he wrote, "This is for Chrissy. I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together. Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling. I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the most challenging moments. What an awesome gift it is to be able to bring life into the world. We’ve experienced the miracle, the power and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility."

He then went on to say that they will forever be by each other's side as they promised seven years ago while taking wedding vows. "Our love will remain. We will never break," he wrote.
