John Cena Posts A Pissed-Off Image Of Professor Snape; Is He Taking A Jibe At JK Rowling's Transphobic Tweets On Menstruation?
WWE star John Cena is mad at Harry Potter JK Rowling for her ‘anti-transgender’ tweets on menstruation? At least that’s what his Professor Snape post hints at
JK Rowling, the author of the popular Harry Potter books, has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons these days. It was after her recent 'anti-transgender' tweets about menstruation that JK Rowling came at the receiving end of criticism and hatred from across the internet, including a lot of celebrities. Following her remarks, JK Rowling trended on Twitter for whopping days with netizens schooling her for passing such statements. She soon justified herself but that only backfired.
She first shared an article whose headline read, "Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate." Soon after which, Rowling tweeted, "‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?" Well, the likes of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who have featured in all the Harry Potter films, too, slammed the author. And, now, if wrestler-turned-actor John Cena's latest Instagram post is anything to go by, it looks like even he is quite irked with JK Rowling's actions.
The WWE star shared a picture of an angry-looked Professor Snape from the Harry Potter series, whose face was morphed on someone else with folded hands. The title of this picture read, "Stone Cold Snape." So, is he taking a jibe at JK Rowling for being apparently not tweeting in her senses?
Check it out here:
Well, Cena has been quite vocal about speaking against what's wrong. So, it won't come as a surprise if decided to indirectly slam the author! (ALSO READ: After Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson Hits Out At JK Rowling's Transphobic Tweets; Harry Potter Author Claims She Survived Sexual Abuse)
