Joey Morgan PASSES AWAY: 'Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse' Star Dies At 28 With ‘No Cause Of Death’!
Hollywood actor Joey Morgan passed away at the age of 28 on Sunday, November 21. He was popularly known for his stint in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Flower and Compadres.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the late actor’s representative said in a statement, "Joey Morgan passed away early Sunday morning. It was a shock and devastated all of us who loved him. He will be dearly missed. We hope everyone understands how painful this is for his loved ones and can respect boundaries and allow them to grieve in private." 

However, in a rather shocking turn of events, no cause of death was found. 

'Scouts' director Christopher Landon paid tribute to the actor on Twitter, writing, "Joey Morgan came into my life nearly 9 years ago when I made Scouts. He was quiet, funny, intelligent and thoughtful. And when the cameras rolled he was magnetic. He passed today and the news is heartbreaking. I am honoured to have known him."


Numbed by his sad demise, Morgan’s fans and social media followers mourned his tragic death while they shared their tributes for him on Twitter.

"Rest in peace joey morgan scouts guide still my favorite movie of all time man everybody dying," a user wrote on Twitter, while another wrote, "Genuinely feel sick to my stomach typing this. rest in peace joey morgan:( scouts guide is a huge comfort movie to me, u were incredible." "Crushed to hear the news of joey morgan’s passing. flower is one of my favorite indie films and his phenomenal performance hugely stood out to me. such a cruel world. rest in peace, joey," another user wrote.





Joey Morgan starred in the action-comedy 'Compadres' in 2016, before he appeared in Max Winkler’s 2017 indie comedy 'Flower'. His final role was in 2020’s 'Max Reload and the Nether Blasters'. He also appeared in the Netflix series 'Sierra Burgess is a Loser' in 2018. 

Among many who paid tribute to Morgan was his 'Flower' castmate Zoey Deutch, who shared a picture of herself and Morgan on Instagram with the caption, "Rest in peace Joey. A deeply kind, talented, special person. We love you."


On the television end, Morgan starred in an episode of 'Chicago Med' and had a recurring role in 2019's 'Critters: A New Binge'.
