Jennifer Aniston has been winning the hearts of her fans with her fit physique and healthy lifestyle even at 50. The actress is known to be indulging into a healthy lifestyle and makes sure she keeps herself fit and maintained. As Jennifer is one of the wealthiest and most known actresses in Hollywood, the actress has on several occasions opened up about her diet and the secret to her beautiful and fit body. Over the years, Jennifer Aniston has revealed her diet, encouraging fans to have a healthy and fit lifestyle. With the Friends star’s diet finally out, the food intake of the actress is surprisingly simple and consist of mostly Mexican food, pasta, no fad diets and a good healthy and fruity breakfast.
Jennifer Aniston is very considerate with her regimen and chooses the healthy and fit lifestyle from her typical breakfast, lunch to dinner. As the actress has a huge fan-base worldwide and is loved for herself, Jennifer has given up on fad diets and here’s her take on dieting. Staring with her breakfast, In 2016, Jennifer revealed to Yahoo! Food, that she eats is very much organic fruits and veggies and tries to keep her sugar low, by drinking tons and tons of water and getting great sleep. In the same year, the actress told Elle magazine about her breakfast staples which are filling, hearty, and delicious. Jennifer revealed that when she wakes up she has lemon water and then has a shake or avocado and eggs, which are also her favourite morning breakfast. Revealing how she likes her eggs cooked, Aniston told Bon Appetit in the same year that she likes them over-easy. Speaking of how she cooks her eggs, the actress said she cracks them in a bowl and will take a white or two into that and pour it all into the pan to get more protein without too much yolk age. The Cake star revealed her favourite breakfast to Yahoo! Food, saying it also includes oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end and credited her ex-husband Justin Theroux for teaching her a little move to get extra protein. She added how right before the oatmeal is finished cooking, you just have to whip in an egg white and it kind of gives it this fluffy texture which is yummy and delicious. The actress also told Bon Appetit that she loves smoothies and whips up a breakfast smoothie with bananas, cherries, a protein powder of some sort, almonds, cacao powder and all sorts of other weird antioxidant stuff that one cannot remember along with almond milk. According to InStyle magazine, Jennifer’s weird antioxidants include maca powder, trace mineral drops, and vegan protein powder.
Earlier in the year 2015, Jennifer shared a picture of her breakfast during a takeover of haircare brand Living Proof’s Instagram page and posted a picture with a slice of toast, topped with a poached egg and seasoned with herbs with added slices of tomato and avocado on the side. Jennifer also revealed to Bon Appetit that she usually has just one cup of coffee a day as she needs a caffeine boost in the morning.
Earlier, Jennifer Aniston’s ex-husband Justin Theroux and she inherited a chicken coop with the property they purchased together and revealed to Yahoo! Food, that they had 15 chickens in their backyard. The actress told that it was super fun to go in the coop and pick the eggs, which was ultimately super fun.
For Lunch and Dinner, Jennifer Aniston prefers salads the most. As the actress ate lunch with her Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow for 10 years every day, Cox revealed to The Los Angeles Times in 2010 that Aniston has a classic twist on a Cobb salad and it wasn’t really a Cobb salad. The actress further added that Jennifer doctored the salad with turkey bacon and garbanzo beans and who knows what. Aniston later revealed to Elle magazine that she eats some form of vegetables or salad with protein, which she finds pretty basic for lunch and dinner. Sharing what a perfect salad is, on Living Proof’s Instagram page, Jennifer shared a picture in 2015 of a hearty bulgur salad with cucumbers, parsley, mint, red onion, garbanzo beans, feta cheese and pistachios. The actress told Yahoo! Food how her refrigerator is stocked with healthy meal preps staples and mentioned about always having raw cut veggies in a Tupperware container. The actress also mentioned about having hard-boiled eggs always in her fridge with a big head of butter lettuce and protein such as pulled chicken.
Speaking of how she deals with her pre-dinner hunger pangs, the Friends actress also told People.com that she will opt for cheese stick or a cup of soup. The actress told Women’s Health in 2014 that she is a huge fan of frozen grapes and has it often while spending her time in the spa.
As Jennifer Aniston’s diet sounds boring and filled with healthy stuff, the actress told Elle how she indulges into Mexican food from time to time and goes all out on it. The actress also revealed to the magazine how ex-husband Justin Theroux brought pasta into her life and that pasta night was a staple during their marriage. Jennifer disclosed her love for Mexican food to Bon Appetit, on how she is powerless around tortilla chips and her love for salsa on everything and Mexican food in general.
Sharing how to make a pasta carbonara, the actress explained it is very easy for anyone to make to Yahoo! Food. She added, “We have eggs from our chickens, and then we make it ‘skinny style’ where we use turkey bacon instead of real bacon, eggs, and parmesan. No oil, butter or creams. And we use pasta water to make it juicier."
Being a huge fan of a lightened up vegetable lasagna, the actress shared with Yahoo! Food on how if you have a zucchini, eggplant that acts as a paste, and then you layer it with different cheeses and put it in the oven finally, she added that’s an easy group meal and easy viewing party food .
As Jennifer Aniston follows a healthy diet and also makes sure she manages to cheat on it as well, the actress also revealed to Yahoo! Food about her food dislikes. She revealed that Beetroots are never in her refrigerator and also not a huge fan of caviar. She also questioned how people enjoy the taste of caviar as she is not a huge fan of it and thinks it has a bad taste.
