Actor Jackie Chan remains one of the most celebrated stars across the globe; also he is known to be one of the highest-paid actors. According to Forbes, his estimated earnings between June 2019 to June 2020 was around $40 million, also according to reports his net worth is said to be $350 million. Unlike many stars who pass on their wealth to their children, the actor had revealed he had some other plans a decade ago.

As quoted during a conversation with Channel NewsAsia, he will be donating his entire wealth for charity and will not be forwarded to his son, Jaycee. The star feels that if his son is capable, he will make his own money, and if he is not then he will waste his money as well. He said, “If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money.” The actor also regretted that he did not enrol his son in the army at a young age.

Back in 2014, his son was arrested for drug possession, followed by the legendary actor as reported in Weibo who had apologized on behalf of his son. He said, “I hope that young people will see Jaycee as a cautionary tale and stay away from drugs. I failed to teach my son and I should also bear responsibility. Jaycee and I deeply bow in apology to society.”
