It's Curtains Down On The Ellen Degeneres Show? Her Production House Clears The Air
American comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres' chat show was rumoured to be cancelled, but here's what the producers have to say
There are rumours of the chat show hosted by popular American stand up comedian, TV Host, actor, writer Ellen DeGeneres to be facing the axe. Rumours started surfacing on the internet after the show recorded low ratings and also allegations made on Ellen for her rude behaviour with her staff off the screen. However, as per reports in The Post, a spokesperson from DeGeneres’ production company rubbished the rumours and confirmed all these to be untrue and baseless. The show has been on air since 2003 entertaining the audience.
The spokesperson of her production company told The Post, “Telepictures can confirm it’s untrue.” Also just like another chat shows which continued to entertain the audience even during the lockdown such as Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah, Ellen too followed the trail. According to reports in Variety, she took the help of an outside team over her show's team thus leaving them disappointed. Her crews also spoke about it and mentioned having very little knowledge about the payment status and job securities.
Comedian Kevin T. Porter taking to his Twitter account in the month of March 2020 had revealed the mean side of Ellen's personality. Post which TV writer Ben Simeon revealed in his tweets that the host picks on someone every day, spitting venom and moving on to the next the other day.
His Tweet read, “A new staff member was told, ‘Every day she picks someone different to really hate.
