Idris Elba Shares When He Contracted Coronavirus; Updates Fans About His 'Mad 24 Hours' In Isolation
Ever since Idris Elba has been tested positive for Coronavirus, he’s been keeping his fans updated about his health and how ’it’s been a ‘mad 24 hours’ in isolation
In the wake of Coronavirus, Hollywood and Bollywood actors have been urging their fans to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel. The first celebrity to contract the disease was Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson. Now the list is long. Yesterday, two actors – Idris Elba and GoT star Kristofer Hivju – announced that they have been tested positive. In their respective social media posts, the actors penned down the symptoms and how they have been isolated.
Idris in his latest post revealed that he had no symptoms and he was feeling okay. Giving the latest update on his health, Elba went live, and said it’s been a ‘mad 24 hours’. He also thanked his fans for all the love they have been pouring in.
In the video, Elba said, “It's hard to say when I got the disease or when I contracted COVID-19, it's hard to say when. I will say that I know I've been exposed to it from March 4. That's when the person that came up positive, that was the time I got in contact with that person. So essentially, I could have been positive from March 4, but it's hard to say when I contracted someone with corona, you can contract it at anytime but my known exposure was March 4.”
A day back, Idris Elba had posted a video with his wife Sabrina, letting the world know that he’s been tested positive for COVID-19. Captioning the video, Idris wrote, “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing No panic.” (ALSO READ: Coronavirus Outbreak: After Tom Hanks And Idris Elba, GoT Actor Kristofer Hivju Tested Positive; ‘Have Mild Symptoms Of Cold’)
