Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman has recently opened up about the skin biopsy he underwent for a possible cancer scare. The actor took to his social media to inform the same and shared a video wherein he was seen with a bandage on his nose. In the video message, the Australian star revealed that there was nothing to worry about. He also stressed the importance of wearing sunscreen to protect oneself from skin cancers.
Taking to Instagram, Hugh posted a video and wrote, “A couple of notes … please get skin checks often, please don’t think it won’t happen to you and, above all, please wear sunscreen.” In the clip, he can be heard saying, “Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know I just went to see Lisa and Trevor, my amazing dermatologist and doctors. They saw something that was a little irregular so they took a biopsy, getting it checked.”
The "Wolverine" actor also gave a piece of advice to his fans and stated "Remember, go and get a check and wear sunscreen. Don't be like me as a kid. Just wear sunscreen.”

The Greatest Showman actor has earlier been treated for basal cell carcinoma, a malignant form of cancer on his nose six times. Hugh Jackman had his first diagnosis of cancer in 2013.
Meanwhile, in terms of work, Jackman will next be seen in the Broadway revival of `The Music Man. He is currently preparing for the same.
