Golden Globes 2021 Nominations Complete List: The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Crown Bag Maximum Nominations; Chadwick Boseman Gets A Posthumous Nomination
The Coronavirus pandemic almost cost a lot to everyone across the world. The lockdown imposed in several countries led to major events stalled, cancelled or postponed. With everything going back to normal again, the major Hollywood events like the 93rd Academy Awards, Golden Globes and more will be happening soon now. On Wednesday, the nominations list for Golden Globes 2021 was announced by Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson. It was earlier reported that the Golden Globes was postponed by nearly two months. The Golden Globes Awards 2021 will be happening on February 28, about eight weeks before the Oscars.

Film Mank and The Trial of the Chicago 7 bagged the most nominations. While Mank earned six nominations, The Trial of the Chicago 7 got five nominations. Web series like Netflix’s The Crown and Schitt’s Creek led the pack in the TV race. The Crown bagged six nominations, while Schitt’s Creek got five respectively. HBO’s The Undoing got four nods, becoming the most nominated limited series. The highlight is Chadwick Boseman getting a posthumous combination for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

Meanwhile, Golden Globe Awards shared the update about the event on their Twitter handle. The 78th annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday, February 28, 2021. The ceremony will air live coast to coast 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC. It will be aired live from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The show will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
