The Golden Globes 2021 ceremony took place virtually on Sunday, and it honored some of the best content on television and cinema. Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, the award ceremony was held virtually, and the nominees took part from all over the world. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the event from Rainbow Room in New York and Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles respectively. Netflix’s series The Crown won the Best Television Series- Drama, while the show also received acting nods for Gillian Anderson, Emma Corrin and Josh O'Connor. Schitt's Creek bagged the award for the Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy), while the show’s Catherine O’Hara won an award for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy. Meanwhile, among the films, Nomadland and Borat Subsequenr Moviefilm won big and earned awards for Best Picture. Nomadland won for the drama category and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm bagged the award for the comedy or musical division.
