We are just halfway 2020 and it's only getting scarier with each passing tragedy. Let's not forget that we also in the midst of fighting a deadly pandemic, among several other issues. Adding onto the stress was the tragic news of American actress Naya Rivera has been reportedly 'presumed dead' after her 4 years old son Josey was found alone, floating on a rented boat in the middle of Lake Piru in California. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon and ever since then, the internet is flooding with several theories around Naya's mysterious disappearance. A few reports also state that Naya had gone swimming with her son but only the latter returned alive.

Amid all this, Twitter is buzzing with the 'Glee curse' theory, under which the netizens have compiled all the mysterious things that have happened to Glee's star cast; be it Cory Monteith’s tragic death in 2013, Mark Salling’s ‘child pornography’ charges that lead to his alleged suicide, Becca Tobin’s BF's mysterious death and now, Naya Rivera's suspicious disappearance. As a consequence of which, Twitterati is wondering if the star cast of Glee is under some curse. "ok but when are we gonna discuss the curse on the Glee cast... they've had pedophiles, domestic abusers, suicides, overdoses, discrimination and now Naya is missing?? what. is. up," wrote a user.

Someone else tweeted, "This is starting to get fucking creepy. Like did the Glee show have a curse put on it or something. This is worse than the shit that happened to the Poltergeist cast cause they decided to use real corpses on set. Like Glee....what DID you DO? WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

For those who are not in the know, Canadian actor Cory Monteith, seen as Finn Hudson on the TV show, had died due to alcohol and heroin overdose. Mark Salling AKA Noah Puckerman passed away due to suicide. Becca Tobin's boyfriend Matt Bendik was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Lastly, Melissa Benoist was a survivor of an abusive relationship and domestic violence. These are just a few instances.
