Make this Thanksgiving a memorable with your ‘FRIENDS’ Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Phoebe as the show’s special thanksgiving episodes will head to the movie theatres
FRIENDS starring Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow is one of the most iconic and most-rewatched sitcom ever. Ever since the show was air 25 years ago, its loyal fans have found their BFFs and made these six characters Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Rachel, and Phoebe a part of their lives. When the show completed it 25 years, the Fathom event cinema had announced that they will be bringing the iconic comedy show to theatres in September. More than 230,000 fans participated nationwide and the event grossed around $3 million, making it the second-highest-grossing U.S. event cinema release of 2019.
Well, going on the same route, the event cinema is all set to bring back the cult show by screening special thanksgiving episodes from Friends just in time for Thanksgiving. That’s right! Guess, now you guys couldn’t ‘be’ more thankful, huh! According to Entertainment Weekly, the event cinema will be bringing 8 Thanksgiving-themed episodes to movie theatres across the U.S. that will be screened more than 700 locations. The episodes will screen at 7 PM on November 24, and the following day at 4 PM and 7 PM (local times). Each day will have four episodes which will be shown in 4K from original 35mm camera negatives. Yes, we can hear you go, Oh. My. God!
As per EW, here’s the schedule, folks:
November 24
“The One Where Underdog Gets Away”
“The One With The List”
“The One With The Football”
“The One With All The Thanksgivings”
November 25
“The One Where Ross Got High”
“The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs”
“The One With Rachel’s Other Sister”
“The One With The Late Thanksgiving”
Guess, now your thanksgiving will be Friendsgiving and we are quite sure, you guys are going to make the most it. Gear up to relive the moments like Monica’s dance with a turkey on her head, Rachel’s the most delicious (awful) trifle which includes beef, Ross’ game-changing secret, Chandler’s love confession for Monica, Joey’s attempt to eat an entire turkey while donning maternity/turkey-eating pants, thanks to Pheebs and Phoebe’s ‘love’ for football.
The best of all is when Monica and Chandler get to know they’re going to have a baby while others reach late to Thanksgiving.
