With the upcoming ninth installment of the series in the pipeline, director Justin Lin recently made a huge and exciting announcement for fans. Lin took to social media to share the news about the film calling Fast and Furious 9 ‘Most Ambitious Film’.
Fast and Furious 9 is one of the most-anticipated films of the year and fans wait anxiously for the film to hit screens. Recently, Fast and Furious 9 directors, Justin Lin took to his Twitter to share the good news on the upcoming film. The director tweeted, “It’s an official #F9 Wrap! This is by far the most ambitious film of the series and I am forever grateful to our amazing crew from London, Edinburgh, Tbilisi (Georgia), Phuket & Krabi (Thailand), and Los Angeles.” Thanking his entire cast and crew for their support throughout the Fast and Furious 9 journey, Lin officially declared the wrap of the F9 production. Talking about the film and the crew, Justin Lin called Fast and Furious 9, by far the most ambitious film and expressed his joy. The filmmaker thanked his crew from London, Edinburg, Tbilisi (Georgia), Phuket & Krabi (Thailand), and Los Angeles for their help during the filming process.
Over the past few installments of the Fast and Furious franchise, Justin Lin has been the director for the third and sixth installment, adding both the ninth and the tenth installments to his kitty. In the upcoming ninth installment of Fast and Furious, stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron will play their reprise roles.
Apart from the stars reprising their roles, Fast and Furious 9 will also star Michael Rooker, John Cena, Finn Cole, Ozuna, and Cardi B. Fast and Furious 9 is slated to hit theatres on May 22, 2020.
