Elvis Presley’s grandson Benjamin Keough has died after reportedly succumbing to a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday
Late Elvis Presley’s grandson Benjamin Keough passed away at the age of 27. TMZ reports Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough's son, Benjamin Keough died of an apparent suicide in Calabasas, California. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Benjamin appeared to have died from a ‘self-inflicted gunshot wound’ on Sunday. Lisa Marie Presley’s rep Roger Widynowski said in a statement to Associated Press that she was heartbroken and beyond devastated after the death of her son.
In the statement, her rep said, “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.” However, her rep did not comment on the details of Benjamin’s death. The report in TMZ stated that Benjamin was also a musician and also signed a USD 5 million record deal in 2009. His older sister Riley has been a part of a few films, including the 2019 film ‘The Lodge’.
In 2019, Lisa Marie Presley shared a picture of her family on her social media handles, and many commented that Benjamin resembled his late grandfather Elvis Presley.

Meanwhile, Nancy Sinatra, Elvis Presley’s co-star in the 1968 film Speedway took to her Twitter and tweeted her condolences to Lisa Marie Presley. She wrote, “Sweet, sweet princess, what a terrible tragedy. @LisaPresley I have known you since before your mama gave birth to you, never dreaming you would have pain like this in your life. I'm so very sorry. I'm here.”
