Film producer and America businessman Steve Bing, died due to suicide on June 22, 2020. Known for his co-writing story as well as screenplay for the movie, Kangaroo Jack released in 2003, was reported to be died by TMZ. As per reports Law enforcement sources informed the publication of the film producer jumping off his residence located on 27th in Los Angeles’ Century City vicinity on Monday. The reports also adds of the film producer taking this drastic step as he was depressed.

The reason for his drowning into depression was absence of humans from his day-to-day life during the quarantine, imposed with the outbreak of COVID-19. He passed away at the age of 55 and is survived by 2 children which includes Damian Hurley, born to him and actress Elizabeth Hurley when they were in a relationship and his daughter Kira Bonder with former Tennis player Lisa Bonder. Born in 1965 the late producer, at the age of 18, as per Wikipedia page had inherited $600 million from his grandfather Leo S. Bing who majorly dealt in estate segment. 

Later he invested in an animated The Polar Express a whopping $80 million, followed by which the movie being super successful at the box office minting $285 million. He also invested in the 2017 movie Beowulf, a Rolling Stone concert, and went on to solely produce Jerry Lee Lewis’ album Last Man Standing. 


He was also a founder of Shangri-La Entertainment, an organization dealing in real estate, entertainment and music.
