Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness Trailer OUT: MCU Explores A New Dimension Of Madness With Evil Doctor Strange
Directed by Sam Raimi, the release of Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness trailer and fans are going berserk.
Marvel fans went berserk after the studio recently released the trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, which is a sequel to Doctor Strange (2016).
After a week of anticipation following Spider-Man: No Way Home post-credits scene, Marvel has released the first teaser trailer for the next Doctor Strange movie. The film’s big reveal is that Benedict Cumberbatch has a dual role on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, playing two versions of Dr. Stephen Strange/ Doctor Strange — one of whom might end up being the film's big villain.
The movie is directed by Sam Raimi, who had directed the Tobey Maguire-starrer Spider-Man trilogy. The upcoming film also marks his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The official trailer for Doctor Strange 2 uses a lot of dark themes and horror elements. This could be the first horror movie in the MCU. Heavy on easter eggs and a plethora of hidden details, the upcoming Dr Strange movie is set to be the next most awaited films in MCU.
The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer also shows Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) in Scarlet Witch costume, and Strange's love interest Dr. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) getting married to someone else other than Strange possibly.
The cast includes Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Stranger’s former lover Christine Palmer, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, and Xochitl Gomez as superhero America Chavez.
