South Superstar Dhanush has now joined the star-studded cast of ‘The Gray Man’, directed by Avengers: Endgame director duo, the Russo Brothers. The Gray Man stars  Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas and this will be Dhanush’s second international project after ‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir’ which released in 2018. The Gray Man will be a big-budget Hollywood project, and Dhanush confirmed that he will be joining the cast of the film, through a social media post.

He took to his Twitter, and shared a statement which read, “Elated to announce that I will be joining the team of Netflix's "The Gray Man" starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, directed by The Russo Brothers ("Avengers", "Captain America: Winter Soldier").” He further added, “Looking forward to being a part of this wonderful action-packed experience. My sincere thanks to my dearest fans from all over the world for all the love and support you have been showing me throughout these years. Love you all. Spread Love..! OM NAMASHIVAYA Love, D.”

According to a report in Deadline, The Gray Man will be the biggest-budget film in Netflix’s history on the feature side.


The Gray Man is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel by the same name, and reportedly revolves around the character of Court Gentry- a freelance assassin and former CIA operative, who is being hunted by Lloyd Hansen, a former member of Gentry’s team. Gosling will be seen playing the role of Court Gentry, while Chris Evans will be seen as Lloyd Hansen.
