Coronavirus Scare: Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 Theatrical Release Pushed To August
As the entire globe is suffering from Coronavirus pandemic, the makers of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 have pushed the film's release date to August 14.
As the world is going through a crisis Coronavirus, everything standstill. Right from to Bollywood to Hollywood nothing seems to be moveable. Wonder Woman 1984, which is a sequel to 2017’s super hit flick Wonder Woman, is the latest film to change its release date. The movie stars talented actor Gal Gadot as Diana Prince. Wonder Woman 1984 is backed by Charles Roven, a renowned producer behind films like Justice League, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, the Dark Knight trilogy.
As the entire globe is suffering from Coronavirus pandemic, the makers have decided to postpone the release date of Wonder Woman 1984 August 14, 2020. The film was earlier slated to release on June 5, 2020. Considering the need of the hour i.e., the safety of people from this deadly virus, the makers have taken the call. Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich said in a statement, “When we green-lit Wonder Woman 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen, and are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theaters on August 14th. We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.”
Not only have the makers pushed the release date of Wonder Woman 1984, but their other films, In the Heights and an animated movie Scooby – Dooby film Scoob, too have been put on hold which were scheduled to release on June 26, 2020, and May 15, 2020, respectively.

Well, this is surely sad news for all the Wonder Woman fans, who were eagerly looking forward to the movie. Meanwhile, many other Hollywood movies that were up for the release has been pushed to further dates.
