Coronavirus Lockdown: Drake Goes Into Self-Isolation After Chilling with Kevin Durant Who Tested Positive For COVID-19
The deadly coronavirus outbreak has taken the entire globe by a storm. After China, it reached onto several countries like Japan, Spain, Italy, Russia, India and the USA among several others. As of now, a total 221,890 cases and around 8,999 deaths have been recorded in total. Among many diagnosed, the list also includes NBA player Kevin Durant, who was tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Now, according to report in New York Post's Page Six, rapper Drake, as a precautionary measure, has gone into self-quarantine because he was hanging out with the basketball player.

Last week, the God’s Plan singer had posted a picture of the friends’ night out on his Instagram and referred to death in his caption that read, "Life is a race and the grim reaper catches up...till then glasses up". While the rapper hasn’t officially confirmed his direct contact with the basketball player, he recently hinted at his self-isolation by showing off a video of his indoor basketball court that there’s in his Toronto residence. "My life for the next however long," read Drake’s caption.

Soon after the news of Kevin Durant being diagnosed with coronavirus hit the web, he told The Athletic that was feeling fine and hadn’t experienced any flu-like symptoms of COVID-19. However, he has urged his fans to stay safe and follow all the preventive measures.

He was quoted as saying, "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this.” The official account of Brooklyn Nets announced, in their statement, said, “The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”
