Coronavirus Lockdown: Contagion’s Kate Winslet, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jennifer Ehle Reunite To Issue PSA On COVID-19 – VIDEO
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has taken a dangerously massive toll across the globe by affecting lacs of people and killing around thousands of them. Amid the outbreak, the internet was quick to dig a 2011 thriller titled Contagion, a movie that perfectly depicted the current scenario long ago. The film starred Kate Winslet and Matt Damon in the lead roles and has now become among one of the most trending movies at present. Recently, the star-cast of Contagion, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Kate Winslet and Jennifer Ehle got together with scientists from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.

The actors have shared four individual videos to spread awareness and the importance of staying united. Kate Winslet, in her PSA, says, “Wash your hands like your life depends on it. Because right now, in particular, it just might.” Jennifer adds how coronavirus a novel, something to which no one is immune, she adds, “Every single one of us, regardless of age or ethnicity, is at risk of getting it.” In the film, Matt Damon portrayed the character of a man who was immune to the hypothetical virus, sais,  “That was a movie. This is real life. I have no reason to believe that I'm immune to COVID-19. And neither do you.”

Laurence Fishburne urges fans to cooperate with the medical professionals on the front line, “If we can slow this thing down, it will give our doctors and our nurses in our hospitals a fighting chance to help us all get through this thing together,” said the actor.
