It’s been quite some time since a pandemic has hit the entire globe. 4-5 months of long hiatus the entertainment world– be it Hollywood or Bollywood – are resuming shooting slowly and steadily. While the makers of upcoming films and shows have decided to recommence the shoot, theatres continue to be shut. Amid the pandemic, as the ban from theaters has not been lifted yet, release calendars of many forthcoming films have been changed.
Following the safety measures, Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) too has decided to push the release dates of some of its upcoming films. Well, yes! Marvel fans may have to wait a little longer as the reopening of theatres amid the Coronavirus pandemic is uncertain. Black Window headlined by Scarlett Johansson was earlier scheduled to release on May 1, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, it was pushed to October 28, 2020. But seems like Black Widow fans may have to wait till next year.
As per the latest reports, the Scarlett Johansson-led film will now open in theaters on May 7, 2021. While Eternals’ release has been moved from February 12, 2021, to November 5, 2021, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings from May 7, 2021 to July 9, 2021.
Eternals delayed to Nov 5, 2021. Marvel made the right & responsible decision. There’s a pandemic. Nothing is more important than health & lives. I can’t tell ppl to go to a movie theater until I feel safe going to one.

He Tweeted, “Eternals delayed to Nov 5, 2021. Marvel made the right & responsible decision. There’s a pandemic. Nothing is more important than health & lives.
