While Aishwarya, Alia Take A Break From Colors; Shilpa, Kajol Like It Bright This Durga Puja
Festivities are an integral part of Bollywood industry. Perfect time for our B-Town ladies to flaunt their ethnic best...
This Durga Puja our B-Town ladies are killing it with their ethnic wardrobe.
While few chose to go subtle and chose lighter shades, others made a loud and colourful statement.
Let’s start with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt. These were the ladies who took the lighter route.
Keeping it subtle and elegant, both-Aishwarya and Alia chose shades of ‘Blue’ and ‘White’.
Check out Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attending Ashtami celebrations where she donned a white chikankari suit. Like always leaving her tresses loose, Aishwarya looked classy as ever.

Not just Aishwarya, we couldn’t take our eyes off her little daughter Aaradhya. Mummy dear dressed this little doll in a matching cotton suit. I couldn’t help but point out this adorable family moment.

Shweta Bachchan too opted for a light pastel shade. She wore a pink Tantsari in an Atpoure drape. I am totally flipping over the Bengali touch she has given to her saree. Isn’t she looking stunning?

Choosing another pastel shade was Alia Bhatt. Now it’s rare that we see Alia wearing an Indian outfit. Her style is usually the casual comfort sorts. But here she pulls off this AM:PM tunic and matching pants with equal ease.
May be Alia’s love for the ‘Denim/ T-Shirt’ wardrobe is so much that she didn’t choose to go the complete heavy Indian route. Hence, the separates.

So one hand where these ladies kept the undertone alive, few just wanted to make a statement by draping loud colors.
Have a look at Shilpa Shetty:

Accentuating her curves just perfectly, Shilpa wore an Anita Dongre creation for a Durga Puja celebration.
The maroon color stands out and the waist belt just adds tad bit drama to the saree. But may be because it’s Shilpa wearing it, she can carry off the waist belt look with style! What do you think?
Next up is Kajol, who donned sarees at two occasions:

In her first appearance, Kajol flaunted the Bengali look where she wore a checkered Anavila sari and kundan earrings. Thumbs Up to this one.

However on the second occasion, her blouse let us down totally! Wearing a Payal Khandwala color blocked silk saree, Kajol’s choice of blouse was completely off. The cut of the blouse is sexy but why the color BLACK?

These were the ladies who recently enjoyed the Durga Puja celebrations. But before I sign off, could help but talk about Ranbir Kapoor who looked absolutely adorable clad in a maroon kurta.

Doesn't he give a feel of 'Boy ready to meet your mom'?
