about off shoulder outfits! We have seen the trend pop up on our social feed for
a while now, with everyone from Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt,
Janhvi Kapoor and other Bollywood fashionistas taking refuge in the
summer favourite neckline for years! A recurring trend, there is no doubt the
off shoulder is never leaving.

While
celebrities have skin specialists and beauticians at the tip of their fingers,
there to take care of their skin problems, the vast majority of us are
unfortunately not blessed with such luxuries. So instead of running away from
the trend, why not embrace it?
And
although not all of us are gifted with flawless and textureless skin, you still
can own this trend because body shaming is so passe. The most neglected patch
of skin, the shoulders have in recent years taken their claim back on the skin
care rituals of most people, and you should take note too, fashion isn’t easy.

1. If your legs and arms get
the moisturiser why shouldn't your shoulders?
After
your shower, make sure you hit your shoulders, neck and back too with that
moisturiser, the first rule of skincare is to make sure your skin is always
hydrated!

Dead skin is not good anywhere!
Include
a weekly rub down for your shoulders too, make an easy DIY scrub with sugar,
honey and your favourite essential oil.

Lather up in oils
Before
you go off to slumber, use that time to let your body repair. Massaging warm
coconut or Vitamin E oil is perfect to make sure your skin stays supple.
4. Instant
glow for those busy days
For
special events, use a mild bleach over your shoulders and back for an instant
glow up! Or you could do a bi-weekly session of rubbing lime juice mixed with
honey, and wash it off with warm water for a more natural glow.

Exercise is your no-fail option
While
all these steps will assure you have a sexy back, toning your back muscles will
do it more justice than you think.
