in Toronto and wore a black belted number by Los Angeles based designer, Zaid
Affas for the evening. This was a great pick and the pared back make-up works
well. Our only grouse is the boring shoes, as interesting footwear would have
elevated this chic look.

Now, let’s return to our favourite celeb spotting zone,
the airport, where Taapsee Pannu served us a rather interesting look. She wore
powder blue separates with sheer socks and brogues and we love this ensemble.
She accessorised with a leather back pack and minimal make-up. This look is
fun, flirty, fashion-forward and Taapsee pulls it off well.

Shraddha Kapoor stepped out to promote her upcoming film Haseena Parkar. She
wore black jeans and a tee with a sequinned shoulder. Shradhha looked pretty
but this was just plain boring.

Aditi Rao Hydari on the other hand nailed the casual look
during an event to promote Bhoomi. She wore a voluminous burgundy maxi dress
and topped it with a denim jacket. Barely-there makeup and a low ponytail
completed this winsome ensemble.

Now let’s look at an attempt at ‘casual chic’ which went
wrong. Ameesha Patel wore a camo jumpsuit to Rakesh Roshan’s birthday party. The
jumsuit itself is OK but that blingy bag, shiny watch and the studded sneakers
take it to overkill territory.

Ameesha Patel should take notes from Malaika Arora , who too wore a jumpsuit while stepping out of the gym. A strappy bralet peaked through, keeping the simple outfit sexy, and a backpack kept the ensemble on trend.
