Huma Qureshi At Cannes 2019: Blazer For A Dress? Why Not!
Huma Qureshi landed at Cannes and already has us talking about her bold outfit choice for her first day at the French Riviera. While we’re not entirely excited about this look, we’re waiting for what the actress has in store for us
Huma Qureshi landed in Cannes representing the vodka brand Grey Goose as well as promoting her Netflix film Leila directed by Deepa Mehta. The actress gave us a little sneak peek into her style at Cannes this year and while the actress looks stunning in her blazer as a dress outfit, we’re not sure how we feel about the no pants deal.
The Balmain black sequined blazer dress with gold button detailing is an absolute stunner and the actresses choice of pairing the outfit with those striking gold Stella McCartney shoes are brilliant! We’re not big fans of the idea to have the front of the blazer pinned up so badly and if conservative was the decision, the no pants deal confuses us.
But nonetheless, the actress was completely living her outfit after all a Balmain creation is worth the fuss!
The makeup was kept minimal (which seems to be the current red carpet favourite) and her hair in a ponytail with that side curl flick, reminds us of the 90s. Now we all know that red carpets are fashion havens, so seeing the hairstyle from the past makes its comeback is a nice surprise. Even Kangana brought back the milkmaid crown braid back!
Going from her previous year’s Cannes wardrobe, we’re sure that the Olivier Rousteing blazer is just a taste of the extravaganza the actress is about to serve us all through this weekend.
