Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest red carpet outing at Cannes reminds us of the splendid gowns of Disney princesses.

The Cannes Film Festival veteran chose a blue couture creation by Micheal Cinco for her first night on the French Riviera and we are floored by its opulence.

The pleated number showed off Aishwarya’s slim waist and décolletage. Aishwarya, who is one of L’Oreal’s most recognisable international faces, paired her gown with Ferragamo shoes.

Aishwarya’s look was completed with pin-straight locks and a deep-hued lipstick, which added a sexy touch to the elegant ensemble.  

While Deepika Padukone served us dollops of sexiness during her Cannes stint, Aishwarya has opted for opulence and old-school glamour.

On her first day at Cannes, Aishwarya was seen sporting two floral gowns.

For the 1st look, Aishwarya chose an emerald green tissue layered dress by Yanina Couture. The blue-eyed diva left her tresses loose and wavy, and gave a striking smile with those pouty pink lips.

The second look as well was way too floral and cliche. She kept the hair, make-up and heels the same and just changed to a Cinderella gown by Mark Bumgarner.

Last year, Aishwarya made headlines and kick-started the trend of purple lips when she donned it at Cannes Film Festival with utmost confidence.
