BEST DRESSED & WORST DRESSED Of The Week: Aishwarya, Deepika, Priyanka, Jhanvi Or Parineeti?
So, who were the ladies who kept the fashion quotient up this week and who were the ones who disappointed us? Time for style check-up, girls...
This week was a week full of red carpet events and
international award functions. Deepika Padukone made a lot of appearances this
week- some overseas and some in India. Priyanka Chopra walked the Golden Globe
Awards’ red carpet and Jhanvi Kapoor also attended Stefano Ricci’s show in
Florence with her mother Sridevi. Parineeti Chopra on the other hand was
chilling in Dubai wearing...umm, let’s save that for later!
Starting with the best dressed of the week, there are a
few contenders. First one is Priyanka Chopra. She looked absolutely stunning at
the Golden Globe Awards 2017. Wearing a dazzling gold Ralph Lauren gown, PeeCee
looked sultry and sensuous.
Going neck and neck with Priyanka Chopra is Deepika Padukone. She almost aped Priyanka’s look from Golden Globe Awards with this ‘all gold’ Naeem Khan gown. She looked very hot but just the repetition factor made Deepika lose that extra point.

Looking extremely hot in this red shimmery short number is Deepika Padukone yet again. Is it reminding you Katrina Kaif from ‘zara zara touch me’ from Race? Well, it did to me as well but hey, who cares when she looks so bloody hot! (Do not miss the man walking besides her, raising the hotness levels even more).

However, Deepika slipped at two or three occasions. She
wore a very blah red Stella McCartney gown at the London premiere of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage and then
followed it up with another unflattering ensemble by Elizabeth Saltzman. Her
yellow one-sided gown by Ralph Lauren, which she wore to the Golden Globe
Awards 2017 was a bit disappointing as well.

Moving on to the other ladies who impressed me this week with their stellar styling were Kriti Sanon, who wore this gorgeous emerald green satin jumpsuit at the xXx premiere last night. She looked quite pretty.

Look who’s here! Someone’s making a debut in the best and worst dressed column today- meet Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor.

Agreed that at first glance, you might just say WTH, but as and when I kept looking at her, I think this young damsel pulled off the look with much grace (after all she is Sridevi’s daughter). The gown by RS By Rippi Sethi design, is heavily borrowed from Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran‘s Fall 2014 collection. But independently I quite liked her look. It is quite quirky.
This is a little off track, but couldn’t help but mention
her. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s look in Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar is something
which got my attention this week. If my memory is not failing me, I guess she
has attempted the all Boho look for the first time? Boy, she looks hot!

And now, let’s talk about a few blunders of the week. Meet Kalki Koechlin, who wore this odd Gucci attire to xXx premiere, last night. A complete miss match of hair, make-up and wardrobe, Kalki!
And now coming to Parineeti Chopra, well, the lady wore this A-line dress by Sachin and Babi. I like the colour combination and the cut of the dress but probably another print (rather a smaller print) would have done justice?
