Motichoor Chaknachoor, Movie Review: BHEJA CHAKNACHOOR Would Have Been The Right Title For This Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Athiya Shetty Film
Athiya and Nawaz get trapped in a film that is absurd, tacky and a sureshot recipe for headache
I am sure Nawaz is making several wrong choices of films, of late. Either he feels he can sleepwalk through any role or feels that now it's time to make money. I am sure Athiya deserved better after the forgettable Hero and a multi-starrer Mubarakan which didn't have the central lights on her, or maybe she thought that it's a big opportunity to work opposite Nawaz.
Haan to kahan the hum? Ya, on why Miss Shetty and Mr Siddiqui signed this film.
Let me tell you a few dialogues on Athiya and Nawaz's suhaag raat. Phudine ki gooli le lo, gooli abhi tak mere pet mein nahin pahunchi, hum bathroom hokar aate hain! What the hell!
Can't forget Nawaz's mom who tells Athiya to deprive him of sex!! What the.... whatever.
Moreover, the film has been mounted on such a tacky canvas that you might need a Perinorm at the interval point itself. Bhatia, you didn't pay your cast and crew in time. At least, yahan thoda sa kharch kar lete.
Ab? Ab kya! Am reeling despite having swallowed two Anacins 40 minutes back. Perinorm can wait. Yawning again, twice this time.
Going with half the number of yawns I have had writing this, ONE-and-HALF.
