Zayed Khan On If His Bond With Hrithik Roshan Was Affected After Latter’s Divorce With His Sister Sussanne Khan: ‘We Are Too Mature For All Of This’
Zayed Khan opened up about his relationship with Hrithik Roshan and if it was affected due to the actor’s divorce from his sister Sussanne Khan
Actor Zayed Khan became a household name after he essayed the role of Laxman Prasad Sharma aka Lucky in Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Main Hoon Na. Having made his debut with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, he failed to make a mark in the industry. Having been a part of some Bollywood movies, he went on to make his debut in the Hindi television industry with Haasil. He recently opened up about the bond he shares with Hrithik Roshan and revealed if it was affected due to the actor’s divorce from his sister Sussanne Khan.
During a conversation with Zoom, he was asked about the bond he shares with the WAR 2 actor. Khan revealed that whenever he is unsure of anything, he freely asks ‘Duggu,’ Roshan, about it as he isn’t afraid of giving him objective answers. Quoted by the Bollywood Shaadis, he said, “Anytime I am unsure about anything that I have shot and haven’t liked, I would call Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) and ask for his opinion. He is very good. Also, when someone doesn’t need to be nice to you for any reason, they will tell you things objectively, and he is one such person. I really love him.”
Shedding light on the fact that Hrithik’s divorce from Sussanne, impacted their relationship at all, the 44-year-old actor brushed it off by stating that they never drifted apart. He added how they do everything brothers-in-law do. “While it was and when it wasn’t… we were always the same because, at the end of the day, his children are my children. They have grown up in my hands. We are too mature for all of this. There are more important things. It was their choice, and what had to happen, happened,” he added.
For the unversed, Hrithik and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan parted ways after 14 years of blissful marriage. They are proudly co-parenting their sons Hrehaan and Hridaan while maintaining a cordial relationship with each other. They have moved on with different partners and are often seen spending quality time with each other. While Hrithik is dating Saba, Sussanne is in a happy relationship with Arslan Goni.
