Yami Gautam Welcomes Prime Minister Narendra Modi At The Rising Himachal Event In Dharamshala

Chosen as the brand ambassador of the Rising Himachal Global Investors Meet 2019, Yami Gautam reached Dharamshala yesterday to attend the two-day summit on November 7 and 8 where she greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Lately, many Bollywood stars have been attending or getting involved with a few important projects or events that usually have Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s involvement in it too. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and other Bollywood celebs collaborated for an initiative named Change Within. Deepika Padukone has been part of a similar government campaign called Bharat Ki Laxmi campaign while Rajkummar Rao too featured in a two-minute-long ad-film which was flagged off by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. This time it is Yami Gautam. Though she is not involved in any of the initiatives, the actress just met Modi at an event at Dharmashala.

Chosen as the brand ambassador of the Rising Himachal Global Investors’ Meet 2019, Yami Gautam reached Dharamshala yesterday to attend the two-day summit on November 7 and 8.  Hailing from the state and having her roots in Bilaspur, the actress grew up in Chandigarh before moving to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. The event was graced and attended today by the Honourable Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, where Yami met the PM earlier this afternoon at the event and the two exchanged pleasantries. Also in the presence of the event were the Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Aram Thakur and Bikram Thakur, the Industrial Minister of the state.


On the work front, Yami will be next in Bala along with her Vicky Donor co-star Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The film has garnered a lot of attention and appreciation for its unique concept. The film will hit the big screen tomorrow which is November 8, 2019. Yami who has been an ambassador of fairness cream brand for quite long recently opened upon receiving a lot of flak from the people. 


However, she recently shared her thoughts on the controversy and the backlash she received for promoting fair skin and said the concepts have changed and now we don’t have four faces.
