World Drug Day:  Sanjay Dutt Recounts Struggle, Encourages Youth To Fight Addiction
Sanjay Dutt has led quite a controversial life with many ups and downs and has never hidden from the world about his drug problem. However, he emerged victorious and has been clean for a long time now. His biopic, Sanju, gave a detailed insight on Baba’s struggles with his drug addiction and he is a true inspiration to anyone struggling with addiction.

Today, on World Drug Day, Sanjay Dutt took to Instagram to share a video where he promotes a drug Free India on World Drug Day. He asks people to not give in to the peer pressure or to the people who offer them any kind of drugs. The caption read “Having been a victim of drug abuse myself, I feel responsible to do my bit in spreading awareness about this menace. It was a moving experience to initiate the #DrugFreeIndia campaign earlier this year with guruji @srisriravishankar. Today on #WorldDrugDay, let us continue our mission.”

Earlier in the year, Sanjay Dutt initiated the Drug Free India campaign under the leadership of Sri Sri Ravishankar and this initiative will surely help a lot of people from the country to help them rehabilitate.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the multi starrer film Kalank and will also be featuring next in in  Ashutosh Gowariker’s periodic historical Panipat. He has signed Girish Malik’s Torbaaz and has also entered into regional cinema and is producing a Marathi film Baba, a tribute to his late father.
